Last fall, this was an art project the kids worked on at a school where I subbed. Each child did their name, divided the rest of the white space into sections and filled each section with a pattern or other felt marker design, then colored over it with pencil. I got hooked and did quite a few of my own at home. VERY RELAXING PAST TIME! Art teachers and their ideas rock!

Very cool. I used to bring art ideas home and be the art teacher to my two sisters–my older handicapped sister and my younger sister. Mom would let us put anything we wanted on our walls. When I was older, she let me paint the walls bright yellow and the furniture bright orange.
